About Us

If you had five minutes on stage what would you say? What if you had 20 slides, rotating automatically after 15 seconds? Would you launch a website? Teach a hack? Talk about recent successes? Failures?

At Frisco Ignite, we not only welcome these thoughts, but encourage them. We are looking to to give talks that will inspire and teach, not have recruiting or product pitches. The Frisco Ignite STEAM Fair is a family-friendly, non-commercial event, where students and adults will be exposed to a modern field of the 21st century.

This event is being hosted by the students of Lone Star High School and Memorial High School.

What does STEAM stand for? Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Anyone can attend an Ignite event. The Frisco Ignite STEAM Fair is aimed at students from ages Kindergarten through 12th grade. They are all welcome to listen to high school students and adults talk about each aspect of STEAM. We plan to have some truly diverse presentations.

The Frisco Ignite STEAM Fair is a force for raising the collective IQ and building connections in Frisco among students and the surrounding communities.
